[Lyric LCP500](https://support.geoarm.com/honeywell?hsLang=en#lyric-lcp500) # Does the Lyric Controller Support Z-Wave Network Rediscovery Yes, the Honeywell Lyric Controller does support Z-wave Network rediscovery. The Lyric controller will attempt rediscovery of a Z-Wave device only after the panel has attempted to send a command to that device via its assigned network route, and communication with that device has not been successful (after retries) via that route. Upon this “loss of device”, the panel will attempt to “rediscover” the device via alternative routes through the network. This “rediscovery” attempt, upon such loss of communication, is automatic. If the Z-Wave device cannot be “rediscovered” in the network, it will be declared a “failed device.” \*A common reason why people have Z-Wave network problems is because you recently have removed a plug-in z-wave module such as a light module or appliance module. All plug in Z-Wave devices into your outlets serve as a Z-Wave repeater. If you happen to remove even just one of these it may cause your Z-Wave network to collapse.
