RF Trouble - Sensors Losing Connection

There are a lot of reasons a sensor could lose connection with the panel

Here are issues that come up from our experience:

1) Sensor may have died and needs a new battery
Replace battery and if it still dosen't work try a second battery or ensure that the battery is working

2) Sensor is too far away from the panel
Purhcasing a wireless repeater may be your solution.

3) Heavy Interference - Physical and External Signals

- Homes and businesses are made of all kind of materials; Typically the strongest walls are the most interfering with RF transmission such as concrete, sheet metal, sheet rock, and even thick drywall can drop RF transmission a considerable amount. Very often garages and warehouses have sensors installed and cars can also cause this RF block.

- Too many (or few strong) RF frequencies can also cause this issue, such as Wi-Fi modems can cause interference with the sensor in question.

Purchasing a wireless repeater would be a good solution in this case or moving anything that is causing interference if that is an option.
