Can the Garage Door Status be Viewed and Controlled from the IQ Panel 2 Plus
The ability to see, open, and close the garage door opener (GDO) from a Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus depends on the type of garage door control solution and security panel the user has.
For a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller GD00Z
If the user has a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller, local control of the garage door is compatible with the following panels:
Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus - The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus allows users to interact with Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and garage devices locally at the panel.
For a LiftMaster Internet Gateway (828LM) or Universal Wi-Fi Hub (821LM)
If the user has a LiftMaster Internet Gateway (828LM) or Universal Wi-Fi Hub (821LM), it is not possible to control the garage door opener from a IQ Panel 2 Plus. This is because the GDO control integration is between the Alarm.com and LiftMaster systems, so there is no direct communication between the garage door operator and the security panel.
