Does the Honeywell Lyric Controller Have a Built In Speaker
Yes, the Honeywell Lyric Controller does have a built-in speaker for all sounds. The Lyric speaker will also provide Voice announcements.
If 'Voice' is enabled It will speak the zone descriptor if chime is enabled and will also announce check system if troubles exist, such as AC Loss, low battery, etc. The Volume is adjustable for all sounds except Alarm.
There is a 'Burglary Alarm Sound' enable option in Programming under 'Sounder'. When set to "ON" (yes), Alarm siren sounds at 85dB, when set to "OFF"(no) the Alarm sound level is set to LOW for testing purposes.
