Is the Honeywell SiXFOB Flash Upgradeable

Yes, the Honeywell SiXFOB bi-directional wireless key fob is flash upgradeable by sending a new code to the fob either remotely or locally. To flash upgrade the SiXFOB go to the master tools menu than select Advanced tools.

When upgrading the firmware for the Honeywell SiXFOB it will be required for you to press a button to activate the fob. Press and hold all four keyfob buttons for 5 seconds at once, immediately after starting the update.

 The Honeywell SiXFOB is compatible with the Honeywell Lyric controller and other systems that can utilize SiX series technology. Once a SiXFOB has been programmed to a controller it cannot be used with another control panel or controller until it has been deleted first. All SiXFOB's have a unique serial number called a MAC which is located on a sticker in the back of the unit.

 Once the SiXFOB has been programmed into the Honeywell Lyric controller it cannot be used with another controller until it has been deleted first due to the Lyric Lock features. Each Device has a unique MAC number located on the sticker on the device.
