How Long does the Honeywell SiXGB Battery Last
The Honeywell SiXGB has a battery life of 5 years with typical usage. The SiXGB uses 1 3 volt CR123 battery from factory and you can replace using Duracell DL123, DL123A, Panasonic CR123A or Honeywell 466. The SiXGB is designed to conserve battery life, SiXGB sensors are normally in an ultra low-power state. Radio off, LED’s off and several events can “wakeup” the SiXGB sensor: The SiXGB will also “wakeup” on a time based interval. Time based wakeups occur every 30 seconds.
