What is the Honeywell SiXGB Flex Detection
The Honeywell SiXGB has a feature called flex detection. The SiXGB flex detection means that it listens for not only high frequencies but also low frequencies created by the impact of an object hitting the glass prior to shattering.
If you are having sensitivity issues with the SiXGB that are creating false alarms you can adjust the sensitivity to suit your application best.
To adjust the Honeywell SiXGB sensitivity from the Lyric Controller home screen select Security > Tools > enter the installer code "default installer code is 4112" > Program > Zones > Start on the right side > Pull the battery tab out of the SiXGB > Select Edit for this device > Program to your liking > Select Down arrow > Adjust the sensitivity > Save > back out to the home screen.
High (default) - 15-25ft
Medium - 10-15ft
Low - 5-10ft Lowest - 0-5ft
The range must be verified by FG-701 simulator.
