What is the Honeywell SiXPIR Battery Saver Feature

The Honeywell SiXPIR encrypted wireless motion sensor has a feature called battery saver. The SiXPIR battery saver feature is used to conserve battery life, the sensor is active only when the system is armed. When in the disarmed state, the Lyric Controller will send a signal to the PIR letting it know the system is disarmed and the PIR will be inactive. When the system is armed, it notifies the PIR and the PIR will then be active.
