How to Change the Honeywell SiXSIREN Batteries
To change the Honeywell SiXSIREN batteries follow the instructions below:
1) Twist the front cover counterclockwise and separate it from the mounting bracket.
2) Remove the batteries, wait 10 seconds, and insert four new batteries of the same type and brand.
*Recommended replacement batteries: 1.5V AA Lithium batteries [Non-Rechargeable]
*AA Alkaline batteries can be used, but battery life, But battery life will be drastically reduced.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries, battery types, or manufacturers.
3) Reattach the front cover and twist it clockwise to secure it into place.
Battery caution: Risk of fire, explosion, and burns. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 212f or incinerate. Dispose of used batteries properly. Keep away from children.
The SiXSIREN two-way wireless siren is for use with Honeywell Controls that support SiX series devices. Once the device is enrolled into the panel, it cannot be used with another control panel until it has been deleted first. Each device has a unique MAC number located on the sticker on the unit.
