The Honeywell SiXSMOKE test button is used to complete enrollment into the control, used to test the detector, and also used to silence the detector when sounding. To silence: Press the test switch or disarm the system at the controller. If the alarm condition continues, the detector is only quiet for 5 minutes. When programmed in one-go all-go mode, the test switch will not silence the detector.
