Can I Add an Additional Siren to the Lyric Controller

Yes, you can add additional sirens to the Honeywell Lyric Controller. The Lyric Controller supports the encrypted Honeywell SiXSIREN.

*The Honeywell SiXSIREN Output level is 85dB at 10 feet

As to how many Honeywell SiXSIREN's the Lyric Controller can support there is no maximum number for this specific SiX Sensor because they are programmed as an actual zone. So, this means that you can have as many SiXSIRENS as you have zones left in the Lyric controller.

The SiXSIREN can be set up to announce console sounds as well as Alarm Sounds. In Zone Programming for the SiXSIREN zone select "Yes" for 'Chime. This will turn on the SiXSIREN to follow all chime and arm/disarm sounds made on the Lyric Controller. (E/E and Trouble sounds are not annunciated)

*Note the Lyric Controller does not support the Honeywell 5800WAVE wireless siren because it is a bi-directional 5800 sensor and the lyric controller does not have the 5800 wireless transceivers needed to send and receive signals.

There is no Siren Voltage Output on the Lyric controller. Also, any Z-Wave sounder can be added and controlled by Smart Scenes.

*Note: External Sounders are not disabled when "Burg Alarm Sound" is disabled in programming.
