Can I Use a Honeywell 5828 with the Lyric Controller
No, the Honeywell 5828 or 5828V wireless keypads cannot be used with the Honeywell Lyric Controller. Even though the Lyric controller is able to support House ID it lacks the proper transceiver needed in order to send and receive data from the 5828 and 5828v keypads.
If you are in need of a wireless bi-directional keypad for the Lyric controller than you would want to use the Honeywell LKP500-EN. The LKP500-EN is compatible with the Lyric controller because it is part of the encrypted SiX series devices.
