Can the Honeywell Lyric Controller Use the 5877GDPK
Yes, all Honeywell Lyric Controller revision numbers can use the 5877GDPK or 5877GDPK-KIT1 garage door controllers. Using the 5877GDPK (which includes a FortrezZ Z-Wave siren/strobe and a 5877 garage relay) you can connect up to four garage door control relays per system to control Garage Doors on zones 127-130.
You can see the status of your garage doors right at the touchscreen or anywhere within the home or business when using smartphones, tablets or compatible wireless devices with the app "Must have the Honeywell 5822t tilt sensor". Users can schedule garage doors to open at a specific time in the morning and make sure they’re closed by a certain time every night, have garage doors automatically close if left open for a specified period of time or at a certain time, receive notifications and control doors remotely via Honeywell Total Connect™ Remote Services
Any unattended operation will: *Trigger the Siren to sound, and the Strobe to flash *After 5 seconds, Lyric will supervise, to ensure the Siren/Strobe are on (if not the door command will not be sent) *If on, it will open/close the door, turning off the siren (leaving on the strobe) *The strobe remains on for 1 minute, or until the door is fully closed *If someone trips the garage door safety, the door will stop (function of the garage door), and the light/siren will time out.
