Can the Lyric Security System Work Without Total Connect 2.0
The Honeywell Lyric Security System has the ability to be controlled by a smart device app. The App is called "My Home Controller". The APP will provide up to Four Tablets / Smart Phones with a secondary method for viewing and controlling your system locally.
The App provides LOCAL only for access to the Smart Controller and cameras, anywhere within the local Wi-Fi® network. The app provides full security, video and automation control, including reproducing the chime.
Available for Android and iOS. Wi-Fi® network connection is required on both the Smart Controller and the mobile device.
If you want to REMOTELY control the Honeywell Lyric Security system than you must sign up for either DIY or Professional interactive alarm monitoring services via Total Connect 2 app. Total Connect is available for Iphone and Android and is downloadable for the corresponding app store or market place.
