Billing Doesn't Match Monthly / Pro-rated Charges
This is one of the most common questions we receive.
The reason for this is that the bill is pro-rated; If a customer goes on January 15th of any year we will charge the remaining days of January plus all of the days of February.
- we bill one month in advance and we provide customers with a prorated amount initially that way they are not charged for the previous days of January they were not online.
- After this first billing cycle customers will be billed on or around the 10th of every month with their agreed alarm monitoring rate.
Note: Taxes are added to your bill depending on the location of the customer.
Existing Customers:
If you are an existing customer and have recently signed up for a new monitoring plan, GeoArm bills a pro-rated charges on the new plans. So if you see a bill that is higher than your new monthly bill, please know that it was for the new monitoring plans' pro-rated charge.
- If you believe you were double charged please let GeoArm know as we can clear up any misunderstandings or mistakes.
