Can the Lyric Controller Siren be Turned Off
No, you are not able to completely turn off the siren on the Honeywell Lyric Controller. But, You do have several options to adjust the sounder output.
1. There is a sounder disable option in programming from the home screen select Security > Tools > enter your installer code "default is 4112" > Program > Sounder > toggle the Burglary Alarm Sound.
When set to ON yes, an audible alarm, which includes any zone type that would activate an external sounder, automatically increases the volume of the internal sounder to 85dB at full volume.
When set to "OFF"(no) the alarm sound level is set to LOW for testing purposes.
2. Volume Control. The User 'Settings' screen has a Volume Control, which can be adjusted from High to Off. This will affect the Volume of all sounds EXCEPT Alarm and Confirm Ding.
