Does the Lyric Controller Speak Zone Descriptions
Yes, the Honeywell Lyric Controller does speak zone descriptions. On the Lyric Controller settings screen, there is an option to toggle the Voice On or Off, and Chime On or Off.
When Both are enabled, Chime will give 3 beeps followed by the Zone Descriptor 1 and 2, and the Device Type (Device Type of 'Other' is not spoken).
*If Voice is not enabled there will be no Voice from the panel for ANY event.
*If chime is enabled and voice is not the system will still chime.
Note: Chime is an option in zone programming for all Entry/Exit, Perimeter, Interior, and Silent Burglary zones only.
