How can I Hear the Lyric Controller Voice Announcements Better
The Honeywell Lyric controller does indeed announce system status from the controller itself. Some people have a larger home where from certain points in the home may not be able to hear the Lyric controller voice system status announcements. A simple correction to this issue is to Add one or more Honeywell SiXSIREN sensors to your security system.
The Honeywell SiXSIREN can be set up to annunciate controller sounds as well as Alarm Sounds.
To Activate this feature in Zone Programming for the SiXSIREN zone select 'Yes" for 'Chime'. This will turn on the SiXSIREN to follow all chime and arm/disarm sounds made on the Lyric Controller.
*(E/E and Trouble sounds are not annuciated)
