How Many Hardwired Zones can the Lyric Controller Support
The Honeywell Lyric Controller can support up to 2 hardwired zones such as security and motion sensor's. Zone 1 and 2 on the Lyric controller can be programmed as normally open, normally closed, or EOLR supervised to respond to both an open or closed circuit devices.
To program a Honeywell Lyric hardwired zone after it has been wired and installed from the home screen select Security > Tools > enter the 4 digit installer code "default is 4112" > Program > Zones > select zone 1 or 2 > Edit > complete hardwired zones settings > Save > back out of programming > Test the hardwired zone to make sure it is working properly.
Programming of the Lyric's 2 hardwired zones is accomplished in the same manor as a wireless zones.
*Zone 1 and 2 can only be programmed as a Door (E/E 1 & 2, Perimeter, General/Resident Monitor, General/Resident Response) or Window, (E/E 1 & 2, Perimeter, Day/Night, Resident/General Monitor, or Resident/General Response.
