How Many Secondary Keypads can the Lyric Controller Have
The Lyric Controller uses the Honeywell LKP500-EN encrypted wireless keypad. The LKP500-EN is a wireless alpha numeric keypad that serves as a secondary keypad for controlling the Lyric controller's security functions. The LKP500-EN uses SiX™ technology protocol for secure encrypted bi-directional communication. You can locate the LKP500-EN within 300 feet of the Lyric controller.
The Honeywell LKP500-EN secondary keypad allows for easy enrollment into the Lyric controller and mounts to a wall or a desk stand LKP500-DK. When programming the LKP500 into the Lyric controller they use the dedicated zones 850-857 and is a supervised sensor. Keypad supervision signals are sent every 60 seconds (cannot be changed). Supervision fault occurs if the controller fails to receive a keypad supervision signal within 200 seconds.
When a trouble condition is detected, the keypad displays a trouble message and begins to beep.
To stop the beeping press any button on the LKP500-EN
The Honeywell LKP500-EN secondary keypad is powered by an external 110VAC input/9VDC output power pack which is supplied when ordered. With the LKP500-EN you will also receive a backup battery with a 7.2VDC charge and provides your with 24 hours of backup battery time.
*The secondary keypad should not be mounted within line of sight of any motion sensors.
