How to Adjust the Lyric Controller Backlight Timeout

To adjust the Honeywell Lyric Controller touchscreen Backlight timeout from the home screen select Security > Tools > enter your installer code "default is 4112" > Program > System Settings > Toggle the Backlight Timeout Button > Save > back out to the home screen. 

The Lyric Controller has a backlit display as well as backlit home and panic keys. The Display can be selected to remain always on, or to timeout in 30 Seconds in 'System Settings'. The Home and Panic keys are always lit.

Note: The back light will not go out when in programming or when any zone is faulted that prevents the panel from arming away.
