Is the Lyric Controller Z-Wave Certified
Yes, the Honeywell Lyric Controller is Z-Wave certified and comes straight from factory with a built in Z-Wave radio receiver. If you want to control Z-Wave home automation devices locally from your home or business you will be able to by using the My Home Controller app.
If you want to control your Lyric Controller Z-wave home automation devices from anywhere using a smart device you will need to activate AlarmClub's Honeywell DIY alarm monitoring services or professional interactive alarm monitoring services. Either option will allow you access to Honeywell's Total Connect 2.0 app which is the app used when attempting to control your Lyric security system remotely.
