What Battery does the Lyric Controller Use

The Honeywell Lyric Controller from factory comes with a backup battery part number LCP500-4B The Honeywell LCP500-4B will allow your Lyric Controller and internal Wi-FI and cellular communicator to be powered for at least 4 Hours fully charged without ac power. Having a working backup battery is a must because in the event an intruder decides to clip your meter box or kill power to your home you will still want to be able to send alarm signals to our central alarm monitoring station.

There is an alternate 24-hour high capacity backup battery option for the Lyric controller which is part number Honeywell LCP500-24B. The Honeywell LCP500-24B will provide the Lyric Controller with at least 24 hours of backup battery time in the event the power goes out.

*Please allow 24 hours for either of these batteries to fully charge.

*The Lyric Controller will give you a low battery notification approximately 1-hour before the battery is fully depleted. In addition, any time your Honeywell Lyric controller loses power you will also be notified that your system has loss of ac power.
