How many Key Fob's can the Lyric Controller Have
The Honeywell Lyric Controller has 32 zones reserved for Button 'BR' type devices or 'Keys'. These can be programmed as 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 Button Keys in "Key" programming. *Keys must be assigned to a User before they will function.
When Programming 1 - 8 Honeywell 5800 Series buttons follow this pattern:
Button Key 1 = Loop 3 Serial Number 1
Button Key 2 = Loop 2 Serial Number 1
Button Key 3 = Loop 4 Serial Number 1
Button Key 4 = Loop 1 Serial Number 1
Button Key 5 = Loop 3 Serial Number 2
Button Key 6 = Loop 2 Serial Number 2
Button Key 7 = Loop 4 Serial Number 2
Button Key 8 = Loop 1 Serial Number 2
Honeywell SiXFOB buttons follow this pattern -
Button 1 (Loop 3)- Top Left
Button 2 (Loop 2) - Top Right
Button 3 (Loop 4) - Bottom Left
Button 4 (Loop 1)- Bottom Right
Button 5 (Loop 7) - Left 2 Buttons
Button 6 (Loop 6) - Top 2 Buttons
Button 7 (Loop 8) - Right 2 Buttons
Button 8 (Loop 5) - Bottom 2 Buttons
If more than 32 Button Zones are needed, protection zones can be used. When in "Key" programming, if Add New is selected and there is no more room for a key, then the next available protection zone will be selected automatically.
