What is the Lyric Controller Exit Error Feature
Honeywell Lyric's Exit Error feature is permanently enabled. If the Lyric Controller is armed and an entry/exit or interior zone is still open after the exit delay time has expired, an alarm will sound and the entry delay timer is started. If the system is disarmed before the end of the entry delay, the alarm sounding will stop and no message will be sent to the central station.
The system status bar will display "ALARM CANCELLED" as well as Alarm and the descriptor of the zone or zones that were left open. If the system is not disarmed before the end of the entry delay mentioned above, and an entry/exit or interior zone is still open, an "exit alarm" message will be sent to the central station.
The message "Alarm, Exit Error" will display in the system status bar and the alarm sounding will continue until the system is disarmed (or a timeout occurs).
An Exit Alarm condition will also result if a fault occurs in an entry/exit or interior zone within 2 minutes following the end of the exit delay, and an E374 (Trouble -Exit Error) message will be sent to the central station.
